DIY Wooden Art Display

There’s lots of painting, coloring, and all around toddler-sized artwork that happens at my house on a regular basis. I’m definitely the sentimental mom that doesn’t want to throw anything away, hahaha. I knew I wanted a little art display that would allow for interchangeable pieces. Here’s a little DIY project that was super easy, and I love how it turned out.

Josh bought a 1×8 board at Lowe’s and had them cut it twice – into three equal pieces (they will do up to 2 cuts for free!). He also picked up a small jar of wood stain. We already had most of the hardware at home. I didn’t get any pictures of the staining process… but it’s really simple. I simply used a paintbrush to brush the stain on the board, wiped off the excess with an old towel, and then let it dry (might take up to 48 hours to dry).

I didn't measure my spacing... just eyeballed it. Again, because I'm a profectionist professional like that.

I picked these up at WalMart... a big box for under $3.

So easy and loved how this turned out.
