To the weary mama… myself included.

I’ve had a couple rough Mom Days lately… there’s been a strike on naps, stall on bedtimes, endless laundry, short nights, husband working late, yucky weather, bossy toddler, aching back, late dinners, sick baby, messy house, and a particularly unbelievable episode that involved me finding my two kids, two bedrooms, and three loads of clean laundry completely covered in baby powder.

…you know these sort of Mom Days. You just want an all-expenses-paid trip for one to the Bahamas. Or a 15-minute shower to yourself. Which is basically the same thing.

This is for us, mamas.

“As a mother comforts her child, so I will comfort you…” -Isaiah 66:13

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” -Galatians 6:9

“For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you ‘Do not fear, I will help you.’ ” -Isaiah 41:13

“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” -Isaiah 40:31

“He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.” -Isaiah 40:29

“For the Lord is good and His love endures forever; His faithfulness continues through all generations.” -Psalm 100:5

What good reminders to find rest in Him. You’re not alone, mama… and you’re doing great. ❤
