In our home, Valentine’s Day Weekend looks like 6:30am wakeup calls from the 3-and-under crowd, and stolen kisses between my husband & I during family snuggle sessions. And in all truth, we wouldn’t change it for anything. ❤
If you have Date Night plans with your valentine, here are quick & simple breakfast and lunch ideas to keep your entire Valentine’s Day festive for the whole family. ❤
Breakfast
You could add my Baked Oatmeal Muffins or Blueberry Banana Bread to this little spread,; both are easy & quick to make (i incorporated some delicious banana bread that a friend gave us).
Valentine’s Breakfast, toddler-style! Strawberry applesauce with sprinkles, heart-cut strawberries, strawberry yogurt with heart-shaped granola.
Breakfast for me and my original valentine too. 😉 Strawberry yogurt, granola, heart-cut strawberries, and a big slice of banana bread from a friend (my blueberry bread or baked oatmeal muffins would be delicious here too!).
Lunch
I found some heart-shaped red & white pasta at Aldi for a couple dollars. I also picked up some mini red sweet peppers that I sliced in half and baked with some mozzarella cheese in the middle, and set out raspberry lemonade to drink. We finished off lunch with a few strawberry wafers.
Hope you enjoy a wonderful Valentine’s weekend, sweet friends… if you need a quick Valentine’s gift for a teacher, neighbor, grandparent, friends, etc., check my post here. In the meantime… may we remember and be grateful that we can love, because He first loved us. ❤
You are just the coolest!!! I adore your posts, creativity, and fun life!
sounds yummy but MY valentines is all about CHILLI’S, go figure!
