Peanut Butter Oatmeal Bars

These are the easiest to make in the history of making things. Three ingredients, y’all. And you probably already have all three ingredients already in your pantry. Plus, did I mention they’re gluten-free, vegetarian, sugar-free, dairy free… the list goes on. But not taste free, because ain’t nobody got time for that. They’re delicious, and perfect for breakfast, as a snack with coffee, or even dessert. Here ya go!

 

Peanut Butter Oatmeal Bars

Original recipe found over at Mothering With Creativity blog. 

1 cup honey

1 cup peanut butter

3 cups oats

-Microwave honey and peanut butter together in a glass bowl for 30 seconds. Stir. Microwave for another 30 seconds. Should be a thinner consistency (more “melty”). If not, microwave another 30 seconds.

-Pour the honey/PNB mixture over the oats in large mixing bowl. Stir until thoroughly mixed.

-Press into a square dish, cover, then refrigerate overnight.

-Cut into squares and keep refrigerated in a sealed container.
